The Monster Storm - Children's Theatre

As part of their children's theatre module, Joao and Lucy managed separate shows on their own, designing and creating intricate costumes for cast of 8+ including themselves! Joao worked on `The Monster Storm'- This was a devised piece centered around the story of a little monster frightened of a storm. Through  relatable themes, fun interactive games, this show aimed to help young children overcome their fears. Joao was inspired by the use of raw material such as wood and paper to design costumes that created the illusion of  the characters coming straight out of the page.
