Into The Deep - Children's Theatre

As part of their children's theatre module at uni, Joao and Lucy managed separate shows on their own, designing and creating intricate costumes for casts of 8+ people, including themselves!

Lucy worked on a show called 'Into the Deep'- an interactive show aimed at KS2 children, which followed a scarecrow, who's crops had been destroyed by the flood caused by the evil villain Mr Flood, try and collect all the puzzle pieces from his magical and mystical friends, to solve the puzzle and stop Mr Flood! 

This was the first show that Lucy had supervised, and one that required her to make costumes she'd never attempted before (such as an octopus costume and two mermaid costumes!), but the audience loved them, especially the jellyfish puppet she made, and the show was very successful!
